Hi peoples. So just to get it out of the way my new blogging schedule is that I will be posting every Saturday and on Tuesday when I have time. Yeah pretty amazing scedule. It is very precise and informative. But now on the actual post! I am interviewing the super cool Anna from
. Here is the interview!
Would you rather stay in a hotel or camp?
I've actually never been camping before, so I'd love to try it, but hotels are great. I guess somewhere in between like a youth hostel suits me best right now. They get a pretty bad name but I've stayed in some absolutely fabulous ones and it's a great way to meet people.
Hostels. Interesting. What are your favorite activities?
I love writing and travelling and going on new adventures. I'm about to leave for India, where I'll be living and volunteering for a year so a lot of my hobbies - skiing and lying about watching netflix- won't really be possible so I'll have to keep finding new things to do. I'm also really into cycling at the minute.
You are going to India!? I want to go to India. Cycling is cool. What is one thing most people don't know about you?
That I have two different colored eyes. One is blue and the other is green, so they're very similar- meaning a lot of people don't notice- although the first time they notice is often hilarious.
That is very cool. I definitively didn't notice untill now. But then again I am not that good at being observant. What is your favorite book and why?
My favorite book - that's a very hard question! I'm going to say right now, it's Persuasion by Jane Austen, but honestly, it changes a lot.
Not sure what that is but I have heard the authors name. Would you rather go back in time 100 years or forward? Why?
As much as I loved studying the first world war (I love history) I wouldn't necessarily want to live during it, so I'll say 100 years forward, and hope for the best.
I proably would't want to live through that either. What is your favorite type of food?
Chocolate. Anything with chocolate.
Chocolate is amazing! How old are you?
I'm 18 years old.
Nice. That is like almost an adult. What is your dream job? Do you actually think you will be able to have this job?
I'm not sure actually. I change my mind a lot about what I'd like to do. I feel like I wouldn't be settled with just doing one thing with my life, but more doing all the things I love. I'd like to be a teacher (which I'll be doing in India) and also a writer and a ski instructor and also voice a character in a movie. And I like to believe that people can do anything they put their mind too (within reason) so yeah, I think they're all things I could do, so why not?
Those all sound like fun jobs. What is your blog name?
I love that name! What is the meaning behind your blog name?
My blog is quite journal focused, I wrote a lot about my life because I like to think that one day I'll be able to look back on it and recall events I've long since forgotten in vivid detail. I want every word to come together eventually and form a portrait of my youth. I remember as much as possible, even the silliest details.
Remembering is fun. Haha. What is your favorite movie?
Probably Love Actually, even though it's a Christmas film and the plot is ridiculous at the best of times. It really makes me laugh.
I have never heard of that but it sounds fun. What is your favorite season and why?
I don't really have a favourite but I love whatever season I'm in usually, although the Scottish summer is questionable at the best of times- we get four seasons in one day here!
Four seasons in one day sounds very hard. What do you love most about blogging?
I love the people. The blogging community is so supportive and lovely, and so much of what I've accomplished in the last couple of years is in a large part down to the inspiration and support of other bloggers. I also love the excitement of finding a new blog that you know instantly you're going to like because it is just beautiful, you know?
I love the bogging community. So when you first saw my blog you of course knew you were going to instantly like it. Right? Yes? Ok good. Haha. If you could have any pet (magical, dead, alive, anything), what would it be?
Definitely, 100% a unicorn. It's Scotland's national animal and fun fact- for one of my serious final high school exam essays I wrote about how unicorns were real and were actually one horned rhinos. Everyone thought I was crazy but I got full marks for it!
Unicorns are the best thing ever. I am officially jealous of Scotland. I want our animal to be a unicorn! If you could talk to any one person (dead or alive) for 30 minutes, who would it be?
My granny had a stroke when I was very young, and she lost her ability to speak. So while I got on ridiculously well with her, I was never able to have a proper conversation with her. I'd absolutely love to talk to her properly.
Wow. That's so sad. But amazing. But sad. So make sure to check out Anna's blog here. If you would like to be interviewed for my blog just email me at nabilaeve@gmail.com.
