Blogtober day 29

I haven't really been posting that much lately or doing blogtober so today I am going to do the 2 blogtober posts I missed and the one for today.

This was the prompt for monday. I couldn't think of anything at the time but now I do have an idea (it's not really my idea it's more elly cause this is what she did it does it matter?). My opinion on some halloween costumes. Ok let's get started! (none of thses pics are mine)

This is a katniss costume from the hunger games and I personally love it. I was katteness last year and it was really fun.


This is as you have probably already realized a hermione granger costume (were in the world is the wand though?!).  Lots have my friends have been hermine before and it looks really cute but since the dress this is pretty long It is hard to run around it so I would never were it because when I go trick or treating I like to run form house to house.


This is cerise hood form ever after high. I got the idea to do this one because one of my friends are going to be her this year. I think that this is a really fun and cool costume. If yo have ever been little red riding hood and still have the costume and want an easy one for this year the this is your costume. Since her mom is little red riding hood in the book that is really just what she looks like except she has wolf ears.

Blogtober day 25: This Week I......

So I this is a recap of what I did this week.

~Monday~

I don't really remember what I did on monday 

~Tuesday~

I had Odessy of The mind after school. I was the leader for the assignment with was to make up a fable with the theme teamwork like the fables from Aesop fables. We ended up doing a story about 2 birds who hated each other but had to work together to survive against a hunter that was hunting them.  After that we did a like a silent movie but we had a narrator performance of our fable for our one person audience aka our captain.

~Wednesday~

I went to choir with is something that I do every week at a church with is really close to my house. It is not the most fun thing to do because well we really only sing churchy songs. With was cool about that is that I ran into a woman that I don't really remember but she did because she asked my name and when I told her she said she remembers me from when I went to pre-k there. 

~Thursday~

I got to get out of school early to go to a tour at Pershing, with is one of the middle schools that are on my list. The magnet is Fine arts magnet so that cool and the building was really nice. But then after I got home my tummy started hurting and I had to do my homework so that was miserable. 

~Friday~

I ended up not going to school because I ended up throwing up at like 1 in the morning (sorry if I grossed you out) Later that day II found out that some kind of flue must be going around because in my class alone 4 people were absent not including me.

~Saterday~

I felt much better but I was still tired so I really just laid down and used my computer a bunch.

~Sunday~

I wrote this post and
plotting my takeover of the world

Blogtober day 24: Things I do on a lazy day

Today's prompt for blogtober is things I do on a lazy day. So I have made a little list of things I do.

Read Books

I love reading and on a lazy day is is one of the best things to do to keep me occupied.

Read Blogs

This is one of my favorite thing to do. Just surf the web or the blogs I follow and just read them.

Drink a Warm Drink

Is doesn't really matter if It's tea or hot chocolate but with a mug in my hand and a cover on my legs I am very lazy and cozy

Food

I would say this is pretty self explanatory but I'll say it anyway. On a lazy day I will go to the fridge or cabinet and just scavenge through until I find something I want.

Youtube/TV

On a lazy day these things are lifesavers.

My favorite fast food restaurant is Subway because it is one of the only fast food restaurant that actually has food that might not make you have a heart attack like Mcdonalds or Jack in the Box.

I actually love to go clothes shopping if I am going to get someone for someone else and they come along because I like to tell my opinions and pick out clothes and I also like going shopping for myself but not as much because I don't really like trying things on. Though most of the time my mom buys stuff for me or I get clothes from presents.

Duck Tape Bookmark DIY

Today I will be showing you how to make a bookmark with only ducktape. I will not be doing Blogtober though because the theme is Halloween Pinterest Roundup and I don't really use pinterest. This is my first DIY post so I hope you guys like it : )

Things Needed

-A roll of duct Tape (does not have to be full)

-Scissors

-Ruler (optional)

Ok let's get started

1. First you want to cut 2 strips of duct tape the size you want your bookmark to be. 

2.  Then you should cut another strip the same size and then cut it in half. That will leave you with 2 little pieces of duct tape.

3. Then you would put the first 2 pieces you cut, the bigger ones, together. This is the hardest step because once you put the tape together you can not really tear it apart unless you try very hard.

4. The bookmark right now probably has white edges and does not look that grate so that is where the little srtips come in. You should put either of them on either side of the bookmark and then fold it down so that you can not see any of the jagged edges or anything like that.

5. Enjoy your new bookmark by reading a book and using it in action.

I missed yesterday of blogtober with was the halloween tag so I am both going to do the tag and write a letter to myself in 5 years.

1- What year did you first go trick-or-treating?

I have been going ever since I could remember

2- Favorite kind of candy?

I would have to say either milk chocolate and smarties or really anything like that.

3- What are you going to be this year?

I want to be a zombie waitress but I'm sure how I am going to pull that of.

4 - Favorite costume you've had?

That would be last year when I was Katniss and I made my own bow that actually worked

5 - Favorite spooky creature?

I can't really remember that many right now but from the monsters I can remember I would say a vampire.

6 - How hyped do you get for Halloween?

Is that even a question? I get definitely super-super-super-super times like a lot hyped

7 - Halloween Pinteresty thing that you've always wanted to try?

I don't really look at pinterest :(

8- Favorite part of Halloween?

I can't really decide between the candy (I'm sugar thirsty), the friends (I mean who doesn't like to hang out with their friends?), or the wearing and creating the costumes

Well orange is the new black? Right? Ok my real answer is that I can't really decide. Black I of course wear more often clothes but orange is such a pretty color.

Dear 16 year old self,


How're you doing?  Are you doing good? Has your life been pretty good so far? I hope it has.  This is you when you were 11.  I am currently in 5th grade.  

Are you still blogging? If you are not then I want you to go on blogger and make one right now.  But if you are thats awesome. That would be an amazing time to have one. I think that if you still have a blog you should treat your self to something nice. 

 I wonder what High School you're going to? You are a sophomore right? (p.s. if I am wrong on this correct me in comments because I am not actually good at paring grades with ages).  Is High school really as hard as it seems in book? I kind of hope not. 

 I guess sixteen is when you get your driver license. Have you got it yet? 

I hope you have awesome friends,  Maybe some kind of job like maybe-sitting, and, a pretty nice place to live.  That would be nice. If you do have some kind of job to you have a goal the money is going towards?

You are probably doing some kind of sport or club right? Well of course you are knowing me.  I wonder what it is. Mmm.... Is it Odyssey of the Mind. Oh and also if you are I wish you luck in the competitions. 

Now for a very important question.  Have you seen Katy Perry or Taylor Swift in concert yet? I really hope you do or maybe do it in the very near future.

Behind the scenes tag/some pretty outdoorsy pics

Where do you blog?

 I usually blog in my chair in my living room with the big window right behind it.  My legs are usually in a scrunched up position with my computer kind of sideways in my lap. I know that, that is not really good but it has become a habit. 

Where do you find inspiration for your blog posts? 

I find inspiration anywhere and everywhere.  Usually it is what I'm doing that day and I think to myself "how can I make this look good, but still fun to read?". But more often than that I find inspiration from other bloggers like when they do tags and things of that sort. And then of course I find inspiration from my photography and the pictures I took. Though sometimes it is the other way around and my pictures are actually inspired from something. 

How long does it take you to write the post?

If I am just writing then probably around 20-40. If I have to take pictures or prepare in some way then I will usually take and hour to 3 hours at most. It usually doesn't take long though. 

Do you plan your blog posts? How?

Unless it is something like a post with a bunch of pics that are themed or something like that then I sometimes plan it but otherwise I really just get on my computer and type until something interesting comes out. 

What kind of camera do you use? What editing program?

 I usually just use my dads phone with is an Samsung 5 or my moms with is a samsung 4. For and editing program most of the time I just use picmonkey and nothing real fancy. 

Do you use any notebook to track your ideas?

I don't have a notebook but a couple ages in my binder is dedicated to ideas though I never really use it. When I have an idea I usually just do it instead of waiting por writing it down. 

How do you take your pictures?

I don't have anything to stand the camera up so I am usually just keeling/standing/perching near the thing that I want to take a picure of and trying not to make my hands shake to much.

What's your favorite type of blog post to write?

I really don't have a favorite kind of post to do.

Who knows about your blog?

Well all of my readers I guess but in real life I would say my parents, sisters, and close friends.  Sometimes my mom also tells her friends but I am not sure they ever actually take the time to look. 

Are you an organized or messy blogger?

I think that depends on what you meen. I am messy in the way of structure of sentence and posts, but then I am super organized like the other day I made a to-do list for the week. 

Biggest blogging pet peeve?

I would say when people just post the same thing thing that someone else is posting just because it's popular. I think that you should post about what you're interested in.
