Totally Last Minute DIY Halloween Costume Ideas

OK so Halloween is next week and no I am not kidding. This actually blew my mind as well when I saw the calendar. I love halloween because between getting to dress up and also getting free candy it's pretty awesome. Fun fact my first post (which I might have deleted) although it was posted in november was about halloween. I for one though am horrible at halloween costumes both because I am cheap and not that artistic. In this post I am going to list 4 super easy and fun last minute halloween costume ideas. Most of these you can do with either stuff you have at home or with only a couple of things you can get easily from the store. Let's get started!

*pics from pinterest

1. Ghost!

I know that this is super cliche and kind of cheesy but it's super easy and also super fun to make. All you need for a fun ghost costume is pretty much a plain white sheet that you are allowed to cut into. Cut out holes for your eyes and mouth and you're pretty much done. If you want to make it cooler though adding fun ghost like designs onto it will give more depth to the costume and also it's just super fun to draw on random things.

Ghost costume for my little boy it was so easy just a ripped sheet!

2. Teenager

I thought of this the other day at school when someone asked me what I wanted to be and truly I think I'm a genius. Literally all you have to do for this is wear what you regularly wear or if you are older or younger get some clothes you think a teen would wear. Personally I think this would be the perfect costume for any dad because all of the dad jokes you could get out of this would be crazy. I imagine something like this.

Friend- "and what are you dressed up as"
dad- "oh a teenager"
Friend- *looks at him weird and then looks at the teenage daughter* "interesting"
dad- "yeah there an interesting species of monster"

I don't know. It could be cool. It could be equally cool for anyone else including actual teenagers. I was thinking it would be like a funny monster teenager type thing becaue teenegares are supossed to be horrible you know. I don't know. Does that make any sense?

3. Queen Bee

This costume is a bit harder but also super easy. All you need is a striped shirt/dress/pants/any clothing item and a headband. You can find cute bee themed headbands online but if you want to do it yourself and stick with the queen bee theme you can put a little crown on the headband and other yellow things. This costume name references so many amazing things including things like beyonce and also me (my sister calls me queen b sometimes).

4. Cat

This is seriously so cute but so awesome at the same time. I'm just going to come out and say it CATS ARE AMAZING. There are some cat haters in the world who say that cats are "mean" and "unloyal" and say that "dogs are so much better". As you have probably guessed I love cats and desperately want one of my own. With this costume you can make it look like you put work into it while really you just put on some cat ears. For this costume clothing wise all you need is a black shirt and then some black bottoms. For the part that actually makes you look like a cat you can put on some cute cat ears and then draw a couple of whiskers on your face.

(^.^) Thanks, Pinterest Pinners, for stopping by, viewing, re-pinning, & following my boards. Have a beautiful day! ^..^ and “Feel free to share on Pinterest ^..^

Sorry for the short post but I love halloween so much and am honestly so excited!

Do you enjoy halloween? What are you dressing up as this year? What are you plans for Halloween? What is your favorite thing you have done for halloween in the past?

Room Tour!

I have been wanting to do a room tour for so long I don't even know why. I have literally been wanting to do one for over a year and today I just decided to do it for some reason I'm not even sure of. But seriously it was even one of my goals for the year. I forgot to say hi. Hello, peoples! Welcome to my blog if your new and welcome back if not. I would say I have a pretty cool blog where I post at least 3 times a week with a bunch of different content. Today I'm doing a room tour as you have probably guessed. I will show you around my room and maybe tell you how I did some of the stuff. If you want some inspiration for your room or if you are trying to think of something to get your 12-year-old friend that she can put in her room then feel free to keep reading. Or if you just think I'm awesome and cool. That too.

I also did a Room Tour youtube video if you would like to check that out.

This is my door. I have this cute pink sparkly N for my name. I can't decide if I still like it or if I have just totally outgrown it. I was trying to search for this online but I could only find the regular wooden block letters. You see these a lot at hobby lobby.

When you first walk into my room this is what you see.

On the back of the door, I have this full-length mirror that I use to see my outfits and stuff like that.

On the left when you first walk in is my closet that I'm not going to show you because it's kind of hideous.

Then I have this chest like thing where I keep all of my shoes. It used to be a dark color with no handles so my dad (he's awesome) painted it and added the handles so now it's easier to use.

Then there is a chest of drawers where I keep a bunch of different stuff mainly things like notebooks and pens and pencils. On top, I have two cute animals with another thing that says N and a jewelry holder.

I have a pretty big window on one of the walls that lets in a lot of light. The view isn't the best but I still like it.

Beside my bed, I have another chest of drawers where I keep all of my school clothes. On top, I have some hand sanitizer, a cute picture, some tissues, and a lamp.

I have two of these on my walls. It is like a print that my mom got somewhere and this picture doesn't do it any good but I can't decide if I like it or not.

My beautiful bed with all of my stuffed animal on it.

My bed takes up most of the space in my room because it is just so big. It used to be parents before they got a new one.

I have this garland like thing that I really should take down but I haven't yet.

A cute mirror that I think used to be in the living room in another house we lived in but now it's in my room.

I have a matching pair of drawers on the other side of my bed where I keep all of my regular clothes that I wear all the time. On top, I have another lamp, two cute figurine type things, some pens in a cute holder, and some other small stuff.

On the wall, right near that, I have my pin board where I have pictures and art and stuff like that. It has changed a lot over the years.

Then last but not least I have this cute light switch with some duck tape on it.

And that's it! If you enjoyed make sure to follow my blog if you haven't already. Also, I would absolutely love it if you could maybe check out my youtube channel and give that a follow as well. Do you like these kinds of posts? Do you like my room? Any suggestions to make it better? What is your favorite part of my room? Do you like your room? What is your favorite part of your room? Should I do a DIY room decor post? What type of posts do you want to see from me in the future?

6 Super Cool 4th Of July DIYs

Hello, peeps! Soooooo....... It's 4th of July soon!! For some people, this could mean absolutely nothing. Actually, for all people not living in the US, it doesn't mean much. For people living in the US though it is fireworks and barbecue and watermelon and red and white and blue. It is about being proud to be an American. We are probably too proud though. Like I am not very proud to be American at the current moment. I mean if you listen to some of those songs about being a proud American and really look at the lyrics you will realize what I am talking about. Anyway, that is not the subject of this post. To be even more festive a lot of people decorate and make cool outfits and stuff for the 4th of July. What better way to do that then to DIY? In this post, I am going to list 6 Super Cool 4th Of July DIYs. This list will include food, decorations, and maybe a couple of cool hairstyles. Let's get started!

*note that none of these are mine and to figure out how to make then go to the site it came from.

I am seriously the worst person at nails like ever but these 4th of July inspires nails are so cute! For this, all you have to have are the 4 colors and then a star or two.

mason-jar-flags-red-white-blue-painted-distressed

Mason jars are pretty much always cute. You can just put a simple sticker on it and it will be amazing and super easy. Mason Jars that are flag inspired though are even cooler.

White Chocolate Dipped 4th of July Ice Cream Cones by Amy Miller Designs

This makes me want ice-cream so bad like I can't even describe how much I want ice-cream right now. These super cool ice-cream cones will definitely show how much you care and they also look absolutely delicious.

Clothespin Wreath

The first thing people see when they look at a house beside the actual house is, of course, the door and in consequence, the beautiful reef hanging there. This one looks super cute and easy because it is basically just paint and clothes pins.

DIY July 4th Banner

I love banners as you can see here. They are a perfect way to decorate any bland space. These super cute rustic ones are adorable and easy.

ribbon braid for patriotic hair

I said I was going to add a hairstyle so here it is. I am definitely trying to do this one this year. It is cute but actually super easy. All you have to do is get some kind of material with the colors and braid it with your hair.

3 Super Easy DIYs For Tweens

Hello peoples! Today I have a DIY post! I have done DIY posts in the past and I liked doing them but I am seriously not that good at making stuff but I have decided to do another post like this and I am kind of proud of the things so let's get started!

Easy Jean Choker

First up I have a super easy choker! Chokers are such a thing right now it is really interesting. Like it is just a piece or some kind of material strapped around your neck. Anyway for this DIY first you need old jeans or jean like material. Once you have that just cut a small strip about 2 times the size of your neck. After that you are pretty much done and all you have to do is clasp the ends together or what I did and tie it.

Desk Decoration (because I am not sure what to call it)

This DIY is super easy and simple but also so adorable. For this you need a jar, some washi tape, and sticks of some sort. In the pictures above I actually used chopsticks but ideally you would have those stick things that you find in stores. So first you have to put the tape on the sticks which you can do by cutting a small piece or washi tape and putting it near the end of the stick. Then you must do that again and again untill you have the amount you want. I recommend using different colors of tape to make it more colorful. After that all you have to do is place it in the mason jar. If you want you can decorate the edges as I did in the above photograph.

Letter Board

*note I made this at a party
For this you will need a couple more things consisting of a wooden board of some sort, yarn, and pins. The back you can buy at various stores. As you can see I did the letter n for my name but you can do any letter you want. All you have to do is put the pins in the design of the letter you want to do and then have fun with the yarn twisting it all over the place. It is super fun to make and a cool activity to do with friends

And that is it for now! Comment down below if you would like more DIY posts and also what DIY was your favorite. Bye!

6 Super Easy And Cute Hairstyles For All Seasons

Hello! I'm back! So as you might know I love fashion and that kind of stuff but I am also super into hair. I have wanted to do a post like this for so long. I just kept waiting and waiting and then one day I was just like I am going to do it. And so I did. Here are 6 easy and simple hairstyles.

This is a kind of katniss and elsa type look with just a simple side braid. I do this hairstyle a lot at school or when I just don't want to do a ponytail but I can't leave it down.

This is more of a winter type look. All you have to do is get some hair from both sides of your head and then pull it into a ponytail. Aftre that if you want you can braid it which is what I did in the picture above.

I have loved this ever since I found it because it kind of makes me feel like a princess. All you have to do for this is get to braids and then lay them on top of your head and then secure it with bobby pins. It gets your hair off of your neck and it looks super elegant and fancy or just whatever depending on the outfit.

This is just a super simple upgraded ponytail. You pretty much just put your hair in a ponytail then get some hair and wrap it around the base of your ponytail.

I have super bad princess leia buns! For this all you have to do is to separate your hair and then make pigtails and then make that into buns. Cute and simple.

Any time I do this I feel like I look like pippi longstocking. Pretty much just do 2 braids.

And that is it for now! In the comments tell me your favroite hairstyle on the list and if I should do more posts like this. Bye!
