Hi everyone. I just finished reading this book and I love it. It is a book about a ship as large as a city how could that be bad.
Picture a world where mighty iron juggernauts roam over land and sea—juggernauts as big as mountains, they are kilometers long. On land, they move on rollers or tracks, crushing everything in their path. That is what the people in this book live in.
The Author is Richard Harland. This is a really good book. It is right now one of my favorite books.
When Colbert is nominated for next supreme commander. 16 year old Colbert is delighted. It is a honor. But when he finds out secrets and meets a filthy( those disgusting creatures or so he thinks) his world turns upside down. Now he has to make things right even if he has to go against what he believes him and second guess things. Even if it means going against his own family.
In this book the people live totally different lives. It bases after real history but there is definitely a twist in time and this is what came of it. I would recommend this book to both girls and boys that are 10-12. Or maybe even older .
This is the first book in a 2 book series. I am definitely going to read the other one. It is called the liberator. So be ready for my review on that.
