10 Teen Bloggers You Need To Read In 2019

Hi everyone! I did a post last year with a bunch of teen bloggers that I love and y'all seemed to really enjoy it. :) Soooo in the new year, I thought it would be perfect to share some more of my fave teen bloggers! Maybe you're already an avid blog reader and just want some new people to follow or maybe you want to start reading more blogs! Either way, this post is perfect. :)

Ask Alex

Alex is a 13-year-old fashion blogger with absolutely adorable photos. I love her blog and Instagram so muchhhhh. Her personality and outfits are the cutest.

The Ray of Sunshine is a blog run by Raquel focussed on productivity, lifestyle, and empowerment. Her posts are super personal while also being helpful! She'll officially have been blogging for a year in March. :)

Zaya Therese

Zaya actually recently rebranded to that name and I love ittttt. Zaya is a 14-year-old girl with a passion for fashion. One of the things that have caught my eye is definitely the photos. They're super high quality and always so cute especially on insta.

Love Natalyn

Natalyn is so nice and kind and has the cutest fashion sense. She does Fashion Fridays where she posts fun new outfit pics every Friday and also does posts like her tiny house experience and 30 acts of kindness.

Katie is a 7th grader who lives in Southern California and loves books. She posts 3 times a week with book reviews, opinion posts, and things like tags and challenges. If you want a new book blog I would totally recommend!

Absolutely Olivia

OLIVIA IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BLOGGERS AND FASHION INPO AND JUST ALL AROUND HUMAN. If you want a new blogger with amazinggggggggg editorial looking fashion photos who also talks a lot about positivity and insecurity and standing up for what you believe in then this is the way to go!!

I've been reading Gray Marie's blog for a while now and I love it. :) First of all she writes great posts and writing and writing tips and books and all of tat good stuff. She has also been writing some personal posts about her depression and therapy which and just life and ahhhh I love them. :) I especially adored this recent post by her. :)

You might recognize this name with the creator feature I did with herrrr (if not check out the post!!). Malia is an awesome and adorable blogger whose goal is to inspire girls of all ages! She talks a lot about faith and being a teen and also just the blessings in the world.

I really hope you guys enjoyed that and that you found some new people that you will love just as much as I do. :) If you want even more recommendations make sure to check out this post where I share ten more awesome teen bloggers. :)

Creator Spotlight | Natalie From Capturing Life On Camera

Today I'm going to be sharing a creator spotlight with someone who I have been loving for a bittttttt. Natalie is a blogger. youtuber, and photographer who I met on Instagram. She's awesome and I love talking to her and reading her post. Stay tuned for photography tips, why she started blogging, and morrrrrre.
What is your name and what does it mean? If you're named after someone who is it
and what does that person mean to you?
I always get asked this question but honestly, my parents just liked the name, Natalie.
My Dad used to joke that I was named after Natalie Portman but whenever he said that
my Mom would roll her eyes.

Haha cool. Why did you start blogging? Do you see yourself blogging in the future?
I started blogging back in 2011 because I loved watching Youtube videos on beauty and
makeup. At the time I did not realize my lack of makeup knowledge which is why
“Beautybynatalie 24” became “Takeapolaroid” to what it is today (Capturing Life on
Camera). In the future, I hope to use blogging to discover new hobbies and hopefully
discover what I will study in college (in a year and a half!).

Good luck!! How do you spend an average day?
My average day is spent in school. I just recently got my license so I have been driving
myself to school and driving my friends home after school. I get home around 3 pm and
I work on homework, procrastinate, and occasionally take some Instagram photos of my
outfit. In the Spring, lacrosse practice starts for me so my days will be extremely hectic.

Driving must be cool! Also now I'm just wondering when your school ends + starts
to be able to get home at 3 haha. What are your favorite hobbies? How would you
describe yourself in 4 words? Just tell us a bit about yourself.
Other than blogging, as I mentioned previously I play lacrosse. I tend to hide the worlds
of my other hobbies from each other so I never really get to talk about it. I have been
playing since second grade and I guess you could say I am pretty good. I made my high
school’s varsity team as a freshman which was one of my greatest accomplishments! I
also love taking portraits of friends but I would love to branch out and turn my
photography into a mini business. My 4 words to describe myself are determined, busy,
quiet, and creative.

Wow congrats on getting on varsity as a freshamn!! That super cool! How do you
come up with blog posts and how do you usually go about writing one?
I always have blogging on the back of my mind. I guess you could say I’m a true content
creator because whenever a topic pops into my head, my blogger subconscious kicks in
and goes, “wait that would make a great blog post!” If I am feeling really inspired at the
moment, I will go right to the notes section on my phone and bang it out right then and
there. Otherwise, it is almost like pulling teeth to try and come up with valuable content.

Blogging is always at the back of my mind as well! What are your 3 biggest
photography tips for newbies?
[1] Get Inspired: I first got into photography by finding photographers that I love and
*attempt* to emulate their style. You will learn so much about your camera and
different techniques compositionally
[2] Don’t be basic: You won’t make it as a photographer if you are just taking pictures
of flowers in your backyard. Find a subject that is interesting, inspiring, or informative
to make your photos stand out.
[3] Keep Shooting: You will never get the perfect shot unless you take at least 50 more
along with that one.

I totally agree with all of those!! If you could collab with anyone dead/alive who
would it be?
I would LOVE to collab with Billie Eilish or Emma Chamberlain for the same reason. I
would love to ask them about what it is like having a full-time job and being so
successful as a teenager. I am the same age as both Billie and Emma and I think I
would be very inspired by talking to them.

That would be so interesting. If you had to choose a career now what would it be?
If I had to choose right now, I would love to make blogging full time. In all honesty, it is
not the most realistic idea considering that I am in high school and I probably would
not be able to function with the income of a small influencer, but I think if I had the
means I could make it work.

I would also lovvvvvve to be a full time blogger but have the same problems haha. :)
What do you see happening with your blog in the next year? What do you want to
happen?
This year I see my blog growing more than ever before considering the digital age that
we are currently in. As much as I would like this to happen, I would need to work really
hard at creating content, being persistent, and coming up with unique ideas.

What are your tips for other people wanting to start a blog?
I know everyone says this but just start. The earlier you start, the more time you will
have spent on it, the more you will make mistakes, and the more you will learn. The
only way to create a successful blog is to fail multiple times.

What is your aesthetic?
My aesthetic has changed many times throughout this year but recently it has been more
green, orange, red, pink, etc. However, my room is the polar opposite being grey, blue,
black and white.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?
I think I am both. I love to be alone because I am an only child and a grew up keeping
myself busy but I also love hanging out with my friends and being in a large group of
people. But I guess that I am more introverted than extroverted because I prefer to listen
in a conversation than bud in.

Yayyy I super hope you enjoyed that!! If you want to find out more about Natalie feel feel to check her at the places linked belowwww.

If you ever want to collab I would love to!! Just email me at nabilaeve@gmail.com. Comment down below your answer to any of the questions! Also, I would love to know if you want more creator spotlights!! I love doing them but I want to put out content that you guys actually enjoy. :)

MY BLOG IS TURING FIVE AND I'M FREAKING OUT SO WE'RE GOING TO CELEBRATE AND I'M GOING TO GIVE SOME SHOUTOUTS TO SOME COOL PEOPLE

So ummm???? My blog is turning five??? On the 11th?? And I'm so confused??? How is that even possible?? Five years is such a long time for me. Five year olds can walk. And talk. And eat. My little baby is growing up and bro I'm so confused??? I have nooooo idea how I could have had this little space for that long. I remember when I first started my blog. And when I changed the name. And when I got insta. And when I did my first blogger collaboration. And when I did my first brand collab. And when I really started doing youtube.

Blogging gives me so so so much joy. It has given me so many friends and opportunities and just confidence that I wouldn't have otherwise. My life has been pretty stressful with school lately and some things have been getting me down. I can always come back to blogging though and this amazing community. I love y'all so so so much and I hope you guys know that. :) If you don't already know to celebrate this occasion I'm going to try to do a bunch of collabs this month! I already have a couple lined up but if you want to collaborate please email me at nabileve@gmail!! I would love to work with you! For this post to start off the month I thought it would be fun to list some peeps I love and that have super duper helped me in my blogging journey. :)

One side note before we get started though, my schedule is going to be super off this month! Sorry y'all!
Lexie- Lexie was one of the first bloggers I ever found and she's so cool!! She's one of the only bloggers that I've known from the beginning who has actually kept up a consistent blog. She's super sweet and I'm happy I get to call her my friend. :)

Abbie-  Abbie is one of the coolest peeps ever. I absolutely  love her blog and her positivity and her music and just everything about her pretty much haha.

Kenzie- If you don't know this cutie you are missing out. I did a collab with her a couple weeks ago and I'm kind of obsessed with her. She regularly comments on my blog which always makes me happy and I've screamed at her about books and she somehow still doesn't hate me and even joins in so like, that sounds like a great human to me.

Kristian- I met Kristian on insta and she's a super coolio blogger friend of mind. I've been talking to her a bit less lately which makes me sad but she's still super duper cool and also a really good writer?? Like she's really good??

Dani- Another old friend who is actually still posting!! There was one summer where I talked to Dani like every day and it was great. I found Dani when she was a little baby blogger and I like to think I maybe helped her a tiny bit haha.

Mckenzie- I talked with Mckenzie at the same time I was close with Dani. At that time though we called them Issy and pronouns have changed multiple times it's like a whole thing haha. We all had a group chat and we talked like a lotttttt. Lots of memes and laughs and blogging talk.

Rukiya and Noor- These are two separate people but they kind of have the same experience with me so I'm putting them together haha. Basically when I first found young bloggers it was Rukiya, Noor, and Lexie. I looked up to them a lottttttt and after some time and me being the little annoying person I am they actually started talking to me. Like what???? I know it's weird. So yeah we were friends and we talked regularly online. Noor was like low key a god in the little blogger community I was in and I thought she was so cool and all of this cool stuff went on. Then they just kind of evaporated from the face of the earth?? And it makes me sad?? Like old blogger friends please come back???

Gray Marie- This girly regularly comments on my blog which is soooo great because not that many people comment???? Like I'm happy for all of my followers and I do get comments which I'm grateful for but I might like the people who comment a tiny bit more. Just a tiny bit. She also has an awesome cute blog that I love reading and just her general aura is so fun.

Andrea- Andrea also comments on my blog (do you see I like people who comment??) and I love her blog. Plus she's supes funny. I was just reading the titles of her blog when I was thinking of what to say and they're so funny???? How can I make my blog posts funny?? Give me tips??? Cause I'm bad at that???

Lanie- UPDATE ON MY LIFE I HAVE OFFICIALLY SEEN LOVE SIMON AND LANIE IS THE ONE WHO MADE THAT HAPPEN SO LIKE SHE'S GREAT. We did a little screenshare thing cause she has the movie (may or may not have been illegal but it's fine) and I squealed like the entire time?? Probs not good?? Might have made Lanie scared because I make noise a lot?? But it's fine??

Vanessa- I've known Vanessa for a while actually and then I think she disappeared and came back??? Maybe??? I'm like not actually sure??? ANYWAY THOUGH she is so crazy nice and sweet and just ahhh I love her. Recently she sent me this random letter that made my day and it had some tea and was just awesome. If you ever want to make me happy just send me a random letter. I am so cool with it.

Ann- I recently found Ann but she is so nice!! And she comments on my blog like a lot and as we have established that is the way to my heart.

Rosie- I said this in the interview I did with her but I just think Rosie is so cool!! She comments on my blog, has a freaking amazing and so professional blog herself, and just also seems to put out coolness into the world?? I don't know???

Abigail- I've known abigail since the beginning era so that's like two years or something. Oh my gosh that's so weird!! She just recently started college (all of my blogging friends are leaving me for college like why must they turn into adults I don't approve) and that is so weird to me!!!! Like she was just starting high school or something!! What?? I absolutely love her posts and her writing and everything is just so good. We recently sent letters to each others and hers was supes cute and yeah Abigail is just cool.

Olivia- Olivia is almost more of an insta friend then a blogging friend but she does have an awesome blog!! I found her on insta when I started and I love everything she puts out into the world!! Her outfits are amazing, she sometimes talks about political stuff, and she is also just soooo positive which I love so so much.

That took me so long to write like y'all better appreciate this. If you are not on this list but also read my blog or we're friends or we just know each other somehow YOU ARE STILL SO COOL LIKE SHOUT OUT TO YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE LITTLE CRAZY HUMAN THAT I AM. I said this earlier but my blog makes me so happy and it is because of you guys. :)

Blogger Confessions From All Of Your Favorite Bloggers

I AM SO CRAZY EXCITED FOR THIS POST AHHHH. So if you missed this post you might not have seen where I asked people to participate in this. Basically, I was looking at Natalie's Instagram confessions series and was like "oh my gosh what if I did my own blogger version???" So I asked a bunch of my beautiful blogger friends to participate! They're each going to be saying some fun confessions related to blogging. I'm not including any of mine but if you want to find that feel free to check out this post which I did a bit ago.

1. I wing everything

I literally have no idea what I am doing, it’s been a year and a half since I started blogging and I’m still over here clueless about everything. It honestly makes me laugh when people compliment
me on being “professional”or “put-together” because half of the time I have no idea what I’m doing, sooo.

2. The next best thing about blogging besides making amazing friends is the validation

Needless to say, I love compliments (who doesn’t??), they melt my heart and I’m also a very insecure person so they make me feel a bit better. Every time someone leaves a sweet comment I fangirl while trying to stay humble, but inwardly I’m just like, ADKLAKSAJKS, GIMMIE THE COMPLIMENTS, I NEED VALIDATION!!

-Gray Marie from Writing Is Life

1. Sometimes when I run out of post ideas I put my spin on a Twitter thread someone else did

I mean, it's the same as if you get inspo from someone else's blog... It's all still helpful so why not?

2. I write blog posts at midnight

I don't know why but it's like the best time for me to write. I think the screen light is the reason why I
have to wear glasses now....

3. I change my header every so often but nobody ever knows

It's true. But nobody ever notices because it's either slight or I change back to the previous header
before anyone has time to notice.

4. I go to events just so I can blog about it

Kidding. I go because I have no choice... but VIOLA! blog post material!

1. Majority of my pictures are taken on the same day

I have literally changed hidden in a small corner, behind a towel, facing the street because I can't be
wearing the same outfit in more than 3 Instagram posts. Probably once a month, I set a picture taking day after, of course, stalking the weather sites to make
sure the lighting will be on point. Then, I pack a bag stocked with upwards
of 5 outfits and 3 towels, find a general location I want to shoot
in and tell my mom (who is forever my photographer).

2. I re-write my blog posts at least twice

I am constantly second-guessing myself, whether it be in school or pursuing my
hobbies. But especially when writing blog posts, I
never feel like they are good enough to post so I end up rewriting them multiple
times. Right now, I'm working on just going with
my gut and not overthinking each post too much, but people always have
opinions so it's hard.

I have walked around with a stuffed duck all day to get pictures of him in front of national monuments.

-Ali from Travels With Delbert

I spend WAY longer checking my blog stats than I should, or at least I did last year when I’d just started
blogging. I would check my blogger homepage, like, five times a day – I was obsessed with exactly who
was viewing my blog and who was commenting, it was terrible XD I just HAD TO KNOW. I realised how
obsessive I was being, though, and I made myself stop checking my blog stats so many times – however,
I still check them at least twice a day now, and much more often 2-3 days after a post has just gone up,
as those are the days that I get most of my pageviews and comments. I just can’t help it, somehow?! I
have to know who’s visiting my blog, and when?! I’m so obsessive, I can’t even...

Yayyyyy that was super fun! I love big collab posts like this! If you're a blogger feel free to comment down below some of your confessions!
