2017 // Goals, Thoughts, Plans, Complaints, Recaps, Bucket List and other amazing things about life

Hello everyone and happy New Year! Can you believe it? You know I have never really liked the number 17 or 7. They have always seems very mysterious and kind of evil to me. I have no idea why. It is my friends favroite number (she is kind of mysterious and kind of evil though so). That is the complete opposite about what I feel like this year will be though. After last year (which I will get into later) I feel like 2017 will just be better, calmer, and maybe less people will die. It is like a feeling. That I have. I have lots of feelings. But I mean congrats! If you are reading this and alive (I am assuming that you are alive if you can read, unless you are some sort of vampire like creature which in that case awesome) then you have already gotten a couple days into this year. That is a pretty big accomplishment. Anyway I have decided to put all of my thoughts and goals and everything like that into this post. I hope you enjoy!

2016 highlights

-I finished elementary school. You know the first school that I ever went to. I actually graduated. Kind of scary. The last day was very bittersweet for me.

-And on that note I started middle school. The school that makes me like a teen (or tween as I call myself because I am not technically a teen yet ). It was pretty scary. But I did it and I haven't died yet! I did a post about my experience here.

-I actually really really got into blogging. Before 2016 all of my posts were either bad or not trying that hard or just not really that professional. I mean my 2015 were pretty good but not like the best. I would say I started being more amazing at this post.

-I got over 60 followers on my blog! Isn't that awesome! That means that 60 people wanted to read my posts and that they cared enough to click a button. It personally made me pretty happy.

-I got a phone!!! Yes after my many many naggings and whole post about it I finally got a phone. It is so pretty and I am kind of in love with it.

This is my case. It is a butterfly princess holding up the majestic apple (I got an iphone 6s) .

-There was an election that I could actually understand (all of the other times I have been too young). It was very interesting to say the least. I did a post on the election here.

-I turned 12! Yep. I am 12 now (I have to update my about page). You can find my birthday haul post here.

-I went to my first school dance. Yes they have dances at the middle school that I go to. It was for homecoming and I had a lot of fun. I wore heels and a dress and hung out with all of my friends.

-*inserts more stuff that I can't remember at the moment*

Things I learned in 2016

-If the rest of the world seems to be going backwards then you have to take a stand and actually do something about it

-My mom is an absolutelly amazing person. Yes I did already relize this but not truly untill this year. She does stuff and has a business and an opinion and great fashion taste. Basically what I want to be. I love her so much.

-I am a kind of mean/shy person. Yes I do relize that those 2 adjectives should not go together but it is true. I have noticed over this year just how kind of bossy and a little rude I am in real life when I am not meaning too. And then I have also realized how shy I am online. I get really really scared that I will say something wrong that will upset you guys or that will make you guys not like me.

-I think way too much and I really like attention. Like seriously once a topic goes into my mind I will analyze every single thing untill I confuse myself. Can't decide if this is a bad or good thing. And then I also really like attention. Whenever a teacher or really anyone says my name and then something good about me it makes me kind of weirdly happy.

So I am getting from this that you guys like hauls, fashion photo-shoots, election things, and fun performances.

My 2017 blog plan

I am still not truly sure where I am trying to go with my blog. If I am going to try to make money or anything like that. Here are some things I have decided though that I will try to do.

-I will be posting at least 3-4 times a month with good posts. This mean I will be posting once or every other week. In the past I have done posts like everyday but with middle school starting I have had less time and also my dad has decided to limit my computer time by like a lot. But this also hopefully means that my post will be better because I will be working on it for a week or so

-My posts will be lots of pictures, hauls, tips, essentials, ideas, and just general fun. This year one of my blogging goals is to be at least a tiny bit more professional. I love my blog to death but sometimes I relize my posts or my layout isn't actually that amazing. I am going to try to work on that.

-If I can get on a scedule scedule then I will be posting every 5 days.

My 2017 goals/Bucket list

1. Have a snowball fight
2. Get 100 blog followers
3. Get straight A's
4. Have 280 dollars
5. Have a snowball fight
6. Water Balloon Fight!
7. Visit a new state that I haven't been to before

Tween Christmas Haul // 2016

Hello peeps! How was christmas/the holidays for everyone? I must say I had an amazing time. Like all of my mom's family came to stay with us/my grandparents that live right by us. You know I have only stayed in Houston twice for christmas (including this time). It is kind of crazy. In the morning I woke up at precisely 8:10. My dad made homemade cinnamon rolls (he is a spectacular cook) so we ate those and opened stockings. So the night before I was basically screaming in everyone's ear that we would open presents at 10:00. But did all of them listen to me? No! It was quite annoying (but I still you love you guys for the people who are reading this). At around 10:30 or so we started opeing presents. The way my family opens presents for christmas is that we do them one at a time. Like maybe I will open one of my presents than my aunt will go and then maybe my sister. It is a very long but super fun process. This is slightly hard with 16 people in the house but it was cool. Overall I would say I am pretty happy with the stuff that I got. I didn't get anything big (since I got a phone for my birthday) but I was fine with it. So I have decided to show you guys the things that I got.

*I am in no way trying to brag and I just want to share with you guys. Please do not take this like offensively or anything I am just trying to have fun. Thanks!

This was what I found in my stocking from santa (aka my dad). Me and my two sisters got these emoji pez dispensers, the thing is both of theres were smiling and happy and I got the angry face. I feel like santa thinks I am a bad person.

I got these beautiful earrings from my grandmother (sorry it is a bad picture). She got them from egypt (I am half egyptian).

These might just be my favroite presents. I got both of these items from my aunt and her fiance. I love the earring so much!! I am wearing them right now.  The stone is opal which is my birthstone. I love how it glitters and kind of lights up. I am kind of in love with them. And then of course I got a hunger games pin! You know I have like no fan merch at all. For basically anything. So I was happy when I got this.

This is the shirt my dad officially got me. I was going to buy it with my own money (we were shopping at a store) when he was like "do you really want this shirt?" and I was like "yes". So He payed for it and then wrapped the shirt and gave it to me on christmas. This is how he gets me presents.

These are the items that my sisters gave me. A white giraffe (I think that is a giraffe, not sure) and then some ornaments (that were hanging on the tree just a couple days before this).

These are the items that my aunt gave me. I love her quite a bit. She is very cool aunt and she was fisrt born so we conect (I guess I don't know but she is very cool and fun). It is a jewelry box, a picture frame, and two little bags.

My grandmother decided to get me a bunch of cloths.

A skirt for school.

This adorable shirt. I have wanted a shirt with an elephant on it for like ever and now I have one.

And than last but not least some jeans.

What did you all do and get for christmas? Comment down below! Thanks for reading. :)

10 Fun Things to Do During Winter Break

Hello peeps! So first off so sorry for my little hiatus. I had exams last week and I guess I just wasn't really feeling it. I am back now though. So I got off friday which means I am officially celebrating  winter break. So far I have had so much fun. I have actually only stayed home for christmas once in my whole life. And this year I am staying home again! With my mom's parents now living here there is no reason to leave. And all of my uncles and aunts and everything are coming here which I am so excited about! It is pretty cool. But with so much free time sometimes people get very bored. So I have decided to list 10 fun things to do during winter break. Enjoy!

1. Go Ice-skating

I personally love ice-skating. True I don't get to do it a lot (hint hint parents) but when I do I have a lot of fun. It almost makes me feel like I am in control of where I am going and what I am doing. And I also like being cold. Is this a bad thing? I think not! There are a lot of places with indoor ice-skating rinks and if you don't have an outdoors one there is proably a pond or two that should be safe to skate on.

2. Decorate for the holidays

To tell you the truth I am very bad at DIY's and decorating and all that. I try and I kind of fail. But christmas/winter decorations are slightly essential to having a full winter break experience. You could put up a tree and decorate it (my sisters love doing this. They will take like an hour trying to get the ornaments in the correct place), or you could put up a wreath on your door, or maybe an adorable centerpiece.

This is in my house if you didn't guess.

3. Look at lights

There are so many amazing decorations this time of year! Everyone just feels so motivated to do stuff I guess. With lights and inflatables and many many more adorable iteams. In my family we personally like never put up lights but there is a street in my neighborhood where there are like 5 awesome houses in a row (awesome meaning lots of winter decor). I recommend going online and finding a neighborhood or street in your city where there are lights. You can even make some hot chocolate and bring it along. Bring some family members. Perfect way to spend an evening.

4. Watch endless amounts of youtube/netflix videos

This is pretty much what I have been doing for the last (*thinks about it for awhile) FOREVER!  couple of days. It truly does pass time. Not that productive but fun. Find a series that you like and binge watch it. I have like 4 series that I am watching and it is proably not good for me but it is OK. Maybe, proably not.

5. Make a blog post/youtube video/social media account

If you have a blog make a winter themed post. If you have a youtube channel make a video with all of the things that you want for christmas. Or maybe get a new social media account. I recently got a musicl.ly account (it is private though so if you know me in real life contact me but other wise my parents won't let me). To tell you the truth I have been having a lot of fun with it. And you know making this post.

6. Go christmas shopping

I really enjoy going christmas shopping. Not the spending money part but the hanging out with other people and getting other people stuff. I guess it just makes me happy to think that I am spending my hard earned money on people.

7. Sleep and sleep and sleep some more

With most people having exams the week before (I did and I died) people are tired! And with winter break we have time to sleep. So my number one tip this break is to sleep your heart out. Except for on christmas. Wake up at 7:00 on christmas day or you will be waken up by the kids in your house. Which one do you prefer?

This baby is so cute!!

8. Go see a movie

There are so many awesome movies out right now! Moana, star wars, soon to be sing. I am pretty sure the whole family will like a good movie and it is a great way to kill time. I haven't seen rogue one yet and I am pretty sad about it. But we are going as a family either on christmas eve, christmas day, or the day after christmas.

9. Cook a desert

Even if you have no cooking skill (like me) this is a perfect time to try to make something. Pick out a delicious pastry or bread like desert and bake it. Even though the process is sometimes annoying the outcome is always worth it. One of my friends is like super into cooking (her mom owns a cooking school) and her goal this winter break was to bake something everyday. I am not sure if she has succeeded so far but it is still cool.

10. Take a nice long bath

I am pretty sure no one has time to take a bath during the semester so during break is a perfect time. After half a year of school relaxing is a must. Get some bubbles maybe a scented candle or 2 and just relax. I love long baths all though I like never take them. One time I stayed in a bath tub for like and hour and a half and when I got out I literally took a nap. It made me tired! So I recommend taking the bath in the evening like after dinner.

I hope you liked my list! Comment down below what you like to do during winter break or if you are even on break. Are you celebrating christmas and if so what are you doing?
