10 Awesome Subscription Boxes (With Discount Codes!!)

I don't think I knew subscription boxes were a thing until I got Instagram BUT NOW I AM OBSESSED. I've been following a bunch of the accounts on Instagram because maybe I just like looking at the photos?? And torturing myself cause I'm never going to actually buy them?? Yeah, I'm cheap, but I'm also 14 it makes sense ok. If you don't know what a subscription box is, by the way, it's basically where you get a box each month and there are a bunch of different kinds and you don't know what you're getting so it's like fun little surprises. In this post, I thought it would be fun to show y'all some of my fave subscription boxes I have been loving! I have also done the research of finding all of the discount codes for y'all so you can get the best cost possible.

*some links/codes are affiliate links/codes which means I will get a small commission if you use the link/code with no extra cost to you

Get Social - code: "social10" for 10% off

This box is all about trends and fashion and beauty! Each box has 4-5 products and it just generally seems super cute.

Clarity - code: NABILA20 for 20% off

I find this box quite cool!! It's all about self-care and self-love which I, of course, am allllll about.

I recently got there January mini box and y'all it is the cutest thing!!!! My paper box is a personalized stationary subscription box which basically means they send you adorable stationary with your name on it. I never have anything with my name on it because it's so uncommon so this made me so so happy!

Owlcrate - code "Fury" for 10% off

You can't have a post about subscription boxes without owlcrate! It is pretty much the book subscription as far as I can tell! They send you a new book and a bunch of cute bookish goodies every month!

*both the photo and code are by the amazing blogger over at Paper Fury!

Boti Box

I actually won one of there boxes from a giveaway! This box stands for Beauty On the Inside and It's mainly for tween girls. I'm a teen though and I still thought it was adorable. There were a couple little jewelry pieces and the packaging and everything was just the cutest.

Kawaii Box

When I saw this box and the website and everything I might have internally exploded. Think of the cutest thing you have ever seen. And then double it. That is is this box. There are squishes and plushies and a bunch of other cute things all from Japan. The shipping is free and they send your first box immediately. :)

Tokyo Treat - Use link for $5 off

Just thinking about this box makes me hungry! This is another Japanese themed box but this time it's for food! There are a bunch of fun snacks and drinks and DIY things and of course, they're all super interesting. If you love snacking and have been wanting to try something new this is the box for you. :)

nomakenolife - Use link for $5 off

If you already love Japanese and Korean skin (those face masks are great I know from experience) and makeup products then this is perfect for you! This box comes with 8-9 makeup, skincare, bath and body, hair care, and other tools and accessories each month. Plus shipping is free. :)

Yume Twins - Use link for $5 off

This is another Kawaii box because well I couldn't help myself AND EVERYTHING KAWAII IS SO FREAKING CUTE. In this box, you get 6-8 goodies from Japan each month! These could include plushies, stationary, bags, pouches, accessories, toys, and more.

The last few have been Japanese so to break that for this last one I'm going to tell you about Penny + Grace! It's actually a beauty subscription! Each month they deliver 3 coordinating pieces tailored specifically to the colors and everything that you say you like! How cool is that??

That post was really fun to make and research for (yes yes mostly cause I got to look at a bunch of cute photos but be quiet, no one has to know) so if y'all like this and want me to make another one tell meeeeeeee. Also, do you guys subscribe to any boxes? What are some of your fave you've come across? I want to know, comment down below!

7 Easy Birthday Party Ideas For Teens

As I've grown older it's been harder and harder for me to decide what to do for my birthday. Everything I think of or find online seems too kiddish or just extravagant that I can't do. That's why I'm making this list! This is going to be 7 easy birthday party ideas that you can throw for cheap (lots of them at home!!). Hope this is helpful to some of y'all who can't decide what to do. :)
1. Karaoke

So so soo fun and sooooo easy!! I did a karaoke party in 6th grade and had a lotttt of fun. Basically, all you need is a microphone. How we did it is one of our friends had this whole speaker set up which connected to a microphone and we played the karaoke videos with lyrics and everything from youtube just on the TV.

2. Mall

This is definitely one that is done a lot but it's still always fun. You can invite a couple of friends and just hang. Maybe get some ice cream/something sweet somewhere, maybe go ice skating, and definitely just shop and laugh with all of the freindsssssss.

3. Photo Scavenger Hunt

I did this one this year (14 birthday!!) and had sooo much fun! It's actually usually done at a mall but since I don't live super close to a mall we did it at a shopping plaza. Basically what you do is you make a list of items that they can take photos of. Maybe 4 hats and some chocolate. It totally depends where you are. I recommend splitting up people in groups of 3 and then you can give them the list of photos they need to take. They need to take photos of all of those items with a group member in the photo. Whoever gets back to the starting point with all of the correct photos first wins! What I did is we did three different stores with specific photo prompts for each and the group that won the most sections won the game!

4. Pool Party

If you have access to a pool and haven't had a pool party yet, um what??? Pool parties are easy and always fun. Have some floats and drinks maybe some pizza and candy and you're set. Pool games are also always fun! You can add a bit of competition in there and have prizes and everything (extra points if the prizes are pool related like water guns or extra floaties!).

5. Spa

I've always thought of this one as so hard but it's actually not! You can do pretty much whatever you want with it and you probs already have a lot of stuff. Plus the parent or adult person doesn't even really have to do that much. Everyone can do everyone else's nails and stuff. A fun group thing.
Ideas:

-sheet/clay/mud masks (cucumbers!!)
-hair
-nails
-maybe makeup??
-nail polish/makeup/masks/general stuff party favors!
-do DIY of maybe a lip scrub or even a make your own mask

6. Movie

Two optionsssssss. You can either go to the movies (this is a bit expensive but still fun) or just watch a movie at home! There are so many movies you can get on Netflix or from the library that everyone will love to watch. Popcorn, of course, must be included! You could even change it up a bit and instead binge a tv show you and all of your friends love. Maybe even have food and stuff based off of the show?

7. Escape The Room

For this one, you do have to go somewhere and pay for it but seriously it is so crazy fun!! If you have never done an escape the room you are missing out big time! Basically, you are put in a room and you have to work together to solve all of the puzzles and get out. For this, the guest count might have to be a bit low.

I super duper hope that was helpful to y'all! Comment down below something you like to do for your birthday/fun birthday parties you have been to in the past. :)

My Most Popular And My Favorite Blog Posts of 2018

I like posts like this especially from bloggers I found recently so that I can catch up on their old posts and also see from a bloggers perspective which posts are there favorite. It's really interesting at least to me haha. I think a lot of time people surprise you. In this post, I'm going to be sharing my most popular and also my favorite posts from 2018!
Most Popular:

My annual art car parade post which of course includes lots of art and cool cars and crazy people. People always seem to love my random posts with lots of photos and I'm just like lol why.

Some of my fave teen bloggers! This post did surprisingly well, especially on Pinterest. I might have to do a part two. :)

As you can tell from the title I shared a bunch of insta accounts I was loving! Basically what I am learning from this post is that y'all like suggestions! Maybe I'll do youtube or something next haha.

This was my post after parkland and I basically just poured out my heart and thoughts and mind. It was kind of emotional and I think it made people think. The comments were really good.

Lots of sites that I use and love that will send you free stuff with or without a big following online! This post would have been really helpful to me in the past and I hope it is to other people.

Aww yes, my birthday wishlist. Pretty much me listing about a thousand products I wanted while saying cute I think at least 12 times. It was a fun post.

One of my more helpful posts if I do say so myself. I list 11 super easy ways to make money solely online even as a younger person!

That post was actually a collab with the wonderful Anika and I think it's the only collab on this list.

This post was basically everything I had learned in the past two years put into a post and I remember it making me really happy when I wrote it. It's basically all of my tips to just be happier. Some of them are duh but I hope others really make you think. :)

I've done a summer bucket list for the past three years (you can look at 2017 and 2016 if you want) and I actually really like doing them. I don't do goals by month but with summer there is so much free time so I think it's good to have a bucket list set out beforehand.

I have always been shy about the music I liked because I honestly didn't really like anyone?? I had a Taylor Swift phase but once she disappeared for that 3 years I didn't have a favorite and I just listened to general pop. Recently though I've found some new musicians I love so so so much and this post is me sharing that with you!! If you like Dodie or Conan Gray or Bea Miller you will like the songs on that list. :)
