10 sites to find awesome and free images for bloggers with no attribution needed

Images are absolutely key to blogs. As I say here if you don't have images it can really really hurt a blog. People like images. They are breaks to the text. They are visually appealing. Eye candy. Aka they are amazing. But some people just don't like taking photos for their blogs. That is so ok. There are a lot of free sites where you can use their images. In this post, I will tell you about 9 awesome sites that have free images you can use for your blog.

But remember before using any images from sites remember to read their licensing information first. Even if the image is free, sometimes you have to give attribution or other stuff for certain photos. I will say the rules for each website in this post but it's good as a general rule to always check.

1. Pixabay

Pixabay is one of the websites I use the most. It has very mysterious, pretty, and nature photos.

Like doesn't that just look so cool??

2. Pexels

Pexels is the other website I use a lot. It has really good desk photos and lots of photos showing city life.

people, working, writing

3. StockSnap.io

They update on a daily basis. It has less nature photos, but flowers, and people photos. Some of the photos are less bright though.

office, work, workspace, business, desk, table, gadgets, smartphone, mobile, retractable, pen, cup, mug, window, still, bokeh

4. Unsplash

It has very large photos, nature, and country life photos.

5. PDClipart

This is the perfect site for all things clipart. It is perfect for other things besides blog posts like ebooks or graphics. The thing about this site is thought that it is not very easy to use cause the design is not very pretty.

6. Canva

Canva is actually a awesome site where you can design graphic stuff for your blog. I is use it all the time. And it also comes with some free images you can use.

7. PD Photo

Some of these images need attribution but most don't. This site is good for specific places and items.

8. FREEIMAGES

Some of the photos require attribution but most do not. The photos are put into categories. It has over 388,875 photos.

Changing of the Leaves 5

9. Pikwizard

Pikwizard is a great new stock photography website with over 100,000 high-quality images. 20,000 of these are completely exclusive to the website and there is no attribution needed.

I would absolutely love if you could share my posts. Sharing is caring. Thanks!

Do you use any of these sites? Do you take your own photos? Do you use photos from sites? If so what sites do you use? Do you agree that photos are super important for blogs?

How to add the pinterest profile widget to your blogger blog

Hey peeps! I don't know if you know but I recently got a pinterest account! It's pretty exciting. Pinterest is just so awesome! It is very addicting.

And it is also very useful for bloggers to grow their blogs. So that is why today I am going to do a tutorial on how to add a profile widget on your blogger blog. It is very easy. And if you don't know what I am talking about a profile widget has a button where readers can follow you and shows your most recent pins.

Alright, let's get started.

------

So first go to your profile page.

And then find the dropdown menu at the top right corner of the screen and press make a widget.

You should find yourself looking at a screen like this one.

You can scroll down and see how your widget is going to look.

Ok now you want to go to your blog's dashboard and go to the layout part.

Then press the add a gadget button.

And add the HTML/JavaScript gadget.

Then go back to your pinterest page and copy the words in the two boxes at the bottom.

Then paste what you just copied into your HTML gadget. After that press save.

And Voila! You are done. You can go to your blog and see your widget in action. That is mine up there. I would be super happy and grateful if you can follow me. I will follow you back.

------

Wasn't that super easy? I think it is pretty easy and it is an awesome way to get more followers on pinterest.

So do you have a pinterest account? If so what is your username? I will follow you (mine is Nabila9123). Did you add the profile widget to your blog? Do you like it? Should I do more tutorials? Would you like it if I did more pinterest related posts?

Where Do I See Myself In 10 Years From Now???

I see myself doing a lot of stuff in ten years. The thing is I will never be certain until it happens. I am currently 11 so in ten years I will be 21. 21 is a very important age. It is kind of like when you officially become and "Adult". Which is actually kind of scary to me. Anyway let's get on with the post.

So I got this idea from the wonderful Kiley who did it here. It looked super cool when she did so I decided to do it myself. I think I am going add a couple more questions.

Where do you see yourself job wise?

What I want my job to be has always been a really hard question for me. Except for blogging (which I am actually not that great at) I don't really have that many interests that I am amazing at. I mean I also like singing photography, reading, and talking. I don't know what to do with that. So I'm not sure what job I would have. It would probably something that requires me to talk a lot or else I might get bored. And it would also involve working with other people. That probably doesn't really narrow it down much though. At 21 though I would probably be in college so I would have some really small halftime job.

Do you see yourself married?

Again I would proably still be in college so I'm not sure. I think I want to wait till I am a little bit older untill I get married so that I am more mature. Just so that I can make better decisions. That sounds good right? Maybe? I don't know!

love, romantic, dress

Do you see yourself having kids?

Absolutely not. I would still be in college and proably not even married yet so there is no way that I would want to have kids. I just couldn't. I want to get my education and marriage done before I have kids. If I did have kids though I would want adorable and smart girls.

What kind of house would house would you live in?

Well maybe an apartment but if it was a house it would:

-Be modern
-Have wood floors
-Small
-Close to city
-Be awesome

I just now realized that my description is pretty much exactly like the house I live in now. But If I could have any house ever my dream house would look something like this:

or this

Oh yes and in my dream house I would have a pool and a hot tub. I absolutely love swimming so it would be a must. Oh yes and it would have a lot of glass. And metal. And skylights.

So that is pretty much like my dream house.

Where do you see yourself blog wise?

Well hopefully I will still be blogging. I can't promise anything though. Sometimes you just have to focus on other things in life. If I am still blogging though (which I hope I am) I hope too:

-Have at least 100 followers
-Become more popular
-Still have all of you amazing readers
-Maybe make money with the blog

By the way if I do stop blogging I give you permission to hit me on the head with something to get me back to my senses.

Do you see yourself having a pet?

I'm not sure. I mean pets take up a lot of time and when I am 21 I don't know if I would have that much time. I did have a pet though I would have a cat who:

nature, animal, pet

-Is adorable
-Has soft fur
-Doesn't lick

I am kind of in love with cats.

And it would be black and white and have stripes but no splotches. And it would be super tiny.

Do you see yourself having a car?

Well I am not sure what is the average age that people get cars but it would be cool if I had one. If would either be red or white. Like this color:

White Car Parking on the Road at Daytime

Or this color:

Red Coupe Car Toy

Besides the color I am not sure what kind of car I would have. I am not much of a car person. I would be super amazing if I could have an electric car though. Electric cars are super cool and better for the environment.

By the way if you are a blogger I would love to see a post about where you think you will be in 10 years. Or if you are not a blogger I would love to see your answer in the comments. Here are the questions:

Do you see yourself having a car?
Do you see yourself having a pet?
Where do you see yourself blog wise (if you don't have a blog you don't have to answer this question of course)?
What kind of house would you live in?
Do you see yourself having kids?
Do you see yourself married?
Where do you see yourself  job wise?

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Did you like this post? Should I do more posts related to me? What job do you think I would be good at?

11 ways to easily come up with awesome blog post ideas

A lot of times it is very very hard to come up with blog post ideas. You might be in have bloggers block or just don't feel creative. Or maybe with everything else going on in your life you just can't think. Either way it makes it hard to come up with awesome and unique blog post ideas. If you find yourself in that situation then I am here to help. In this post I will show you how to easily come up with blog post ideas

1. Read other people's blogs

Read all of the newest posts of the blogs you follow and get inspiration. This is a really awesome way to come up with new ideas but you have to make sure that you are not directly copying. You can get in a lot of trouble for that and it is just rude.

Blogging, Blog, Background, Information, Network

2. Ask others

You have friends and family and followers (I just realized those all start with an f) for a reason! Ask them for ideas. Send some of your friends an email asking for ideas or do a post on your blog asking your readers what they want to read. If you want to do a survey I highly recommend typform.

3. Go on pinterest

If you have a pinterest account then this is an amazing place to get inspired (if you do have an account I would love to follow you so you can just drop your name down below, mine is Nabila or Nabila9123). There are so many different kinds of people on pinterest, if you search your niche you are almost guaranteed to come up with something. Even if you don't come up with some ideas while searching pinterest it will still probably be worth it because you will end up seeing an adorable little kitty cat.  Which is always worth it.

4. Check out some blog posts that list blog post ideas

People have been at lost for what to write about before so there are a lot of posts that list blog post ideas. This is a very easy way to come up with some blog post ideas. I actually did one here where I listed 111 blog post ideas so I recommend you start there.

5. Do what's trending

Have you seen some bloggers do the same kind of posts? Maybe a tag or a topic. Either way you should totally do it too! Like right now (6/2016) I have noticed summer bucket lists are very in. I did a post with my bucket list here.

Board, Blackboard, Trend, Direction, Development

6. Look at the comments you have gotten

A lot of times when readers comment they have questions or ideas or discussions. Look through all of your comments and see if they have any questions. Then you can answer them. Boom! Perfect post and you helped someone.

7. Go over some of your older posts

Look at your older posts and see if you can add to that topic or expand it. Like lets say you have a post on what to do before publishing a post and in that post you say to have a great title. Why don't you do a post on how to make a great title.

8. Brainstorm and write everything down

Put on a timer for like 1 minute and then start writing all of your blog post ideas down on paper. Then when your 1 minute is over read through all of your ideas you wrote down. Some of the ideas are probably horrible but some will be very good. Pick out some you like and then expand on them.

Coffee, Notebook, Watch, Work Desk

9. Take a walk or go somewhere

After everything you need to give yourself a break once in awhile. Take a walk. Or if you are going somewhere go an enjoy yourself. You could even do some tips or something like that related to where you went. Like if you are going hiking you could do a post with hiking tips or things you must bring hiking.

Rail, Shoe, Walking, Female, Rack

10. Watch Youtube Videos

Watch some youtube videos and vlogs related to your niche.

Film, Filmstrip, You, Tube, You Tube, Icon, Play Button

11. Think about some problems your ideal audience is having

You really write to help your audience with a problem so why don't you brainstorm all of the problems your audience might be having and do a post telling how to fix them. You can do this by thinking of your audience and what is currently happening.

Here is a little infographic to sum it up.

I would absolutely love if you could pin and share this for me.

I love you guys! Stay awesome!

Do you have trouble thinking of blog post ideas? What do you do when you don't have any ideas for what to post? Did you like this post? Do you like my infographic thing? Should I do more of them? What other types of posts would you like me to do?
