5 Tips For When You Are Trying to Get a Song Out of Your Head

Hello peoples! What's up? So a normal part of the human experience is getting songs stuck in your head. Like for the whole day and you just keep singing it (in your head or out loud) and it just won't stop. Like an ever revolving playlist of only one song or a bike gif. It keeps going and going and going. Sometimes this can get quite annoying so I have decided to give you guys some tips and ideas that I use when trying to get songs or phrases out of my head. Enjoy and I hope this helps!

Sing a different song

Find a song that you love. Maybe your favorite song. Sing the song or play it a couple times to get the other song out of your head. If you are lucky then now you will have no song stuck in your head or if you are a tiny bit less lucky (still pretty amazing though) you could get your favorite song stuck in your head.

Watch a movie or tv show or video

When I am sick or if I just don't feel good then I love just watching tv. It takes my mind of off basiclly everything. It can also take your mind off of other things like for example a song stuck in your head. Get your favorite movie or for something shorter look at your favroite youtubers videos.
Watch and sooner or later the song will no longer even exist.

Work on your math homework or solve some word problems

Thinking about other sentences or words drives the other song lyrics away. There are like abuzillion games online with cross word puzzles that are very helpful in situations like these. Math or math problems can also help. Yes I did just give you a good reason to go finish that math homework that is due tomorow.

Look up the lyrics

No actually, I am not kidding. A lot of times when you have a song stuck in your head it is just a snippet of the song. Maybe the chorus or one or two lines of verse. So if you actualy learn the whole song your mind will stopping guessing what the rest of the song is. Another way this could help is that if you know the whole song then it will be too many lines to play in your mind on a continuous basis.

Eat food or gum

When you chew or eat food sometimes the whole movement thing can interfere with the sound in your head. It messes everything up. Gum works the best but other foods can also help. This helps me sometimes and sometimes not but it is still worth a go.

How To Have The Most Amazing Lazy Day Ft. My Staying In Essentials

I am on spring break right now and I feel extremely lazy. No school and nothing truly important that I have to do. You know those days when you just feel like doing nothing and instead just laying in bed doing nothing. THAT WOULD BE ME RIGHT NOW. Sorry. Anyway so I have decided to grace you with my knowledge on how to have the perfect lazy day. Enjoy!

1. Find the perfect bed or couch

Hop on to your cozy bed or the couch right in front of the tv

2. Pile on the blankets

Blankets are essential for pretty much everything involving comfort. They just are. The best kind are either humongous or fluffy or BOTH.

3. Plug in some headphones

Music is also very important to this sacred process. Listen to some of your favroite artists and lose yourself in the awesomeness of the songs.

4. Turn on the tv or maybe youtube

Watching videos is like one of the best ways to past time. watch that movie that you have been wanting to see forever or maybe catch up on your favorite youtuber.

5. Read

Reading is the actual best way to past time. Crack down on that tbr list and just read. Snuggling up in the covers with a good book is like the closest thing you will get to heaven on earth.

6. Write or draw in a journel

I find writing or drawing to be super soothing. Maybe more of a diary entry or the next Mona Lisa.

7. Make some tea

Tea is perfect for everything lazy or tired. Get a herbal tea bag maybe add some honey and then voila. The perfect staying in drink.

8. Order a pizza and eat in bed

Eating in bed is usually a big no no for me since it makes crumbs but when I am feeling especially lazy it kind of makes me feel like a princess. Make a little something for yourself and then enjoy in the comfort of your covers.

9. You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream

Ice cream is like life. I love ice cream although I like never get it since my parents won't buy it for me. My favroite flavor is proably cookies and cream.

And that is my perfect night in and my tips for how to have a lazy day. Comment down below what your perfect lazy day would include! Thanks to Leesa, which is a mattress company, for inspiring me to do this post!

5 Things You Should Do Daily To Be A Good Student

Hello everyone! So as you might know I am in middle school at the moment and I must admit it is kind of hard. Like very very hard. And that is just 6th grade. No I am not pretending to be an expert but today I am telling 5 things you should do daily to become a better student overall. Enjoy!

Check your grades

Not all schools have this but my school has an online gradebook called parent student connect or gradespeed where you can check your grades. All you have to do is make an account and sign in. If you do have something like this I recommend definitely looking at your grades. It is good to check daily so that if you are failing a class or missing something you can address it right away. If you school does not have a system like this then just ask your teacher.

Write in an agenda or planner of some kind

Planners are basiclly essential for school (and life in general). Every school that I have been to hands out agendas at the beginning of the year but if that is not the way for you then planners are pretty cheap at almost any store. All through elementary school I never really used by agenda because well first I wasn't organized and second I guess I just didn't have much homework. Now that I am in middle school though I can not live without my agenda. Homework, important dates, and what the heck that girl's name is that sits across from you in science should all go in your agenda/planner.

Read Read Read

It has been seriously proven that by reading you become smarter. The average american reads only about 19 minutes per day and most of that is proably for school or work. I challenge you to do some reading at home. I promise you. Its helps. Maybe read and go over the section of your science textbook for the test tomorow. Or possibly read more of a pleasure book like the hunger games.

Smile

Everyone's proably like "I came here to get better grades not get tips that don't help!". Yes yes yes I relize that. But guess, what smiling does help your grades and also everything else in your life. When you smile you basiclly trick your brain into thinking that you are happy which leads to happiness. When you have a positive attitude everything goes better. It is easier to listen in class, harder to give up on homework, and you will just be a happier person. When you are feeling like nothing is going right at school... smile.

Ask a question

During class so many students don't understand the concept but are too lazy or shy or ignorant to ask a question. This is a PROBLEM. Every school day ask at least one question. Maybe something that you have been struggling with lately, something clarifying exactly what the teacher wants you to do, or maybe just a question that you think will help others.

And that is it for now folks! I hope these tips help. :) Comments down below if you agree with these points and also what are your tips for school?
